Bridlington's Pleasure Cruisers

This text is taken from my third publication about Bridlington, Any More for Sailing?, published in 1996. Most of the pictures reproduced in this book are from my archive of old postcards, while the photograph of Yorkshireman is by Mary Burton, of Goole. My photograph of Flamborian shows her leaving the harbour on her penultimate pleasure trip in June 1998. I was the last fare-paying passenger to leave Flamborian on her final trip later the same day.
